It will continue to allow you to submit tickets on a 24/7 basis, while offering some enhanced features designed to make things even easier to do so.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Australia</strong><br />Severe flooding in Queensland and New South Wales, along with various other regions of the country, is affecting the delivery of mail and parcels. &nbsp;Delays are expected.&nbsp;</p>
<p><br /><strong>United States-Northeast</strong><br />A winter storm is projected to hit Philadelphia, New York, Boston and the greater Northeast Thursday, February 7th-Saturday, February 9th. &nbsp;Blizzard conditions can be expected Friday through Saturday. &nbsp;This may cause delays in mail delivery.</p>
<p><br /><strong>Postal Service Announcement</strong><br />A new delivery schedule will be implemented during the week of August 13th, 2013. &nbsp;Mail will no longer be delivered on Saturday. &nbsp;It will be delivered Monday through Friday. &nbsp;Packages will continue to be delivered Monday through Saturday.</p>]]></content:encoded>

<p>Postal workers in 23 regions of Brazil went on strike on Wednesday, September 18th. Postal workers in Minas Gerais and Par&aacute; had already been on strike for a week before union groups in the remaining regions joined on Wednesday. There have been reports that 84% of postal workers are backing the nationwide strike. Brazil Post has contingency plans in place to ensure services continue; however, delays are to be expected.</p>

<p>Due to heavy rain and flooding, delays may be experienced in the following postcode areas: 13xxx-14xxx and 64xxx.</p>

<p><strong>UNITED KINGDOM</strong> The Paralympics may affect mail collection and delivery times in and around secured Games zones in East London from August 27th to September 9th.</p>
<p>Monday, August 27th was a bank holiday in the UK and Northern Ireland. No deliveries or collections took place on this day in England, Wales, Northern Ireland and many parts of Scotland.</p>
<p><br /><strong>TAIWAN</strong> A strong typhoon reported on August 23d has disrupted a number of flights. &nbsp;Some mail delivery delays to be expected.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>CHINA</strong> Typhoon Haikui has caused flooding in east China after landing in Zhejiang Province on Wednesday morning. It has been reported that 1.5 million people were evacuated in preparation for the storm. Terminals at the ports of Shanghai and Ningo closed temporarily. &nbsp;Airports in Shanghai, Pu Dong, and HongQiao cancelled or diverted over 700 flights during the storm. While services to and from the ports and airports have now resumed, authorities are working hard to restore the situation back to normal, expect delays on service to this region.</p>
<p><br /><strong>PHILIPPINES</strong> Due to prolonged rain resulting in heavy flooding during the weekend of August 4th in Manila and surrounding areas, it's likely that the handling and delivery of mail will be severely impacted. Flooding is especially severe in Valenzuela, Malabon, Muntinlupa, Makati, Manila, Navotas, Paranaque, Quezon, Marikina, and Pasig.</p>
<p><br /><strong>NEW ZEALAND</strong> The volcanic ash eruption which was affecting mail and parcel deliveries in the Central North Island on August 7th &amp; 8th is no longer affecting deliveries. The situation has returned to normal.</p>
<p><br /><strong>VENEZUELA</strong> Due to heavy rains and flooding throughout April &amp; May, a state of emergency was declared in various parts of Venezuela. The state of emergency was declared for 90 days which would be until August 10th, 2012. Delays to both inbound &amp; outbound mail are expected during this time.</p>

<p class="p6">To help avoid delays, we encourage you to contact your recipients to verify whether their location is open or able to receive deliveries before and after the Mid-Atlantic storms and Colorado wildfires. In the event of evacuations, shipments not delivered before the Mid-Atlantic storms and Colorado wildfires will be secured in one of our facilities. Delivery will be attempted when it is safe to do so.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>UNITED KINGDOM</strong> The Olympic Torch Relay is taking place at various points around the UK. There will be official road closures and large crowds along parts of the route which may cause some temporary disruption to service. Some of the communities through which the Torch will be passing through today include: Grimby, Louth, Mablethorpe, Skegness, Boston and Sleaford arriving for the evening celebrations at Lincoln. We will keep you updated of any disruption the Olympic Torch Relay may cause.</p>
<p><br /><strong>PORTUGAL</strong> Airport workers have given notice to strike between June 29th and July 3rd which may result in flight cancellations. Mail deliveries delays to be expected during this period.</p>
<p><br /><strong>PARAGUAY</strong> Political unrest in Paraguay reported on June 22nd has ended; however, there may be some delays in the processing and delivery of mail.</p>
<p><br /><strong>FRANCE &amp; ITALY</strong> Flights were cancelled due to strike actions by airport workers on June 21-23. Mail delivery delays expected during this period.</p>
<p><br /><strong>BOSNIA, CROATIA, MACEDONIA</strong> Due to restrictions on air capacity which may have affected service from as early as June 1st to June 17th, mail being sent to these countries is currently subject to delay.</p>
<p><br /><strong>UNITED STATES</strong> Wildfires in the West and tropical storm Debby in Florida are causing some delays with mail deliveries in these regions.</p>]]></content:encoded>
