1ShoppingCart Integration Instructions

Introduction

Welcome to the 1ShoppingCart.com integration guide. This document is targeted for customers who have selected 1ShoppingCart as their shopping cart option and outlines the steps necessary to integrate your 1ShoppingCart customer and order data with EFS for processing.

Getting Started

Requirements

To begin, you must set up a "Pro" account with 1ShoppingCart. This type of account allows you to access the 1ShoppingCart API. The price for this account is $99/month.

Outcome

This integration method is based on a "New Order" notification from 1ShoppingCart.  "New Order" notifications are received in real-time after the orders are placed, then immediately inserted into the EFS fulfillment system.

Note: Orders can only be cancelled before they have printed. If the order has been printed, contact Customer Service to cancel the order.

Integrating with EFS

This process requires some initial setup within your 1ShoppingCart account and in the EFS fulfillment system.

To get started, contact the EFS development team at tech_support@efulfillmentservice.com with the following information:

  • Merchant ID
  • Merchant API key

The Merchant ID and Merchant API Key can be easily found within your 1ShoppingCart account.  The Merchant ID is available under My Account menu item under the Current Account Status section.

The Merchant API Key is available under My Account -> API Settings menu item (A). After you have emailed your Merchant ID and Merchant API key to tech_support@efulfillmentservice.com, they will respond with your unique notification URL. This URL will then need to be entered on the API Settings page (B). A sample of a unique URL is shown here.

When these steps have been completed, 1ShoppingCart will send EFS notifications when new orders are placed. After a notification is received, the order information is sent to our fulfillment software for processing.

Things to Remember

1. SKU numbers in 1ShoppingCart must be configured to match the SKUs listed on the Inventory Control screen in the EFS Fulfillment Control Panel.

2. There are many different ways to configure shipping in 1ShoppingCart.  Regardless of how your shipping is configured, you will end up with a list of shipping options such as UPS Ground, USPS Priority Mail, UPS 2nd Day Air, etc.

Provide the EFS development team with the list of exact names of the shipping options you are providing to your customers. The EFS team will translate the shipping options to our internal codes for processing.
